We are excited to announce that the ASI Newsletter December 2022 edition is now available, following a series of Newsletters dating back to 2021.
The Newsletter was established with the goal of providing the public and researchers with timely information on the recent activities of the Archaeological Survey of India. Despite some delays in the past, the ASI team remains committed to strictly following the Newsletter's schedule to achieve its objectives.
In conjunction with India's assumption of the presidency of the G 20, a number of events and cultural group meetings will be held across the country. This provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the rich history, art, architecture, and heritage of India to the delegates. The ASI is actively engaged in various core activities, including archaeological excavations, monument maintenance, documentation of archaeological remains, and research on diverse aspects of cultural heritage. The December 2022 Newsletter provides a glimpse into some of these exciting activities.
