India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is inviting applications for an intern to assist the IFA Archive team in Bangalore from January 02 to March 31, 2023. This is a paid internship opportunity.
IFA is an independent, nationwide, not-for-profit, organisation that makes grants and implements projects across practice, research and education in the arts and culture in India. Set up as a Public Charitable Trust in 1993, IFA has been making grants and implementing projects since 1995. Since then, we have supported and implemented over 734 projects disbursing over Rs 34.30 crore (USD 4.48 million) across the country.
Launched in 2018, The IFA Archive is a space that holds the diverse materials of the projects supported and implemented by IFA over the years, currently featuring materials from more than 370 projects online. We also regularly organise public engagement events such as the IFA Archive Open House and Date with the Archive to enable conversations around archives.
