We are excited to announce an internship program in Jain Art and Archaeology, offered by the Bhagwan Shitalnath Chair for Jain Archaeology at Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune. This is a unique opportunity for students to delve into the captivating realm of Jain heritage, art, history, and archaeology.
Objectives:
- Gain exposure and training in research methodologies in Jain Studies
- Develop skills in data collection, referencing, and research writing
- Work on a short-term project related to Jain Studies
Internship Details:
- Number of interns: 2
- Duration: 3 months (full-time), extendable by one month
- Location: Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune
- Stipend: Rs. 10,000/- per month
Eligibility:
- Master's Degree in A.I.H.C. and Archaeology/History with 55% or B+ grade
- Good knowledge of English and essential computer-based skills, content writing skills
- Age limit: 25 years as on 1st September 2024
