art conservation graduates from NMI, NRLC and MSU are preferred.
Skills: Curatorial and preventive conservation for paintings/prints

Location: Lado Sarai & Mehrauli, New Delhi
JD centre of art looking for assistant art conservators and art conservation interns for 4-12 months. The selected applicants will first primarily work on the curatorial and preventive conservation of paintings and prints of the eminent artist Jatin Das for his retrospective exhibition at the NGMA, Delhi in November 2023. Prior working experience/training in art conservation is compulsory. The applicant should have basic knowledge of art documentation using Excel.
Later, the selected applicants will also work on the documentation and conservation of the traditional and modern art collections of JD Centre of Art, www.jdcentreofart.org, which was founded by Mr Das in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Regular travel between Delhi and Bhubaneswar is expected. The Centre offers subsidised accommodation on sharing basis for employees and interns in both Delhi and Bhubaneswar.
