Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Masters’ degree with 55% marks in Museology /History of Art from a recognized University or equivalent.
OR Masters’ degree with 55% marks in Ancient Indian History/ Sanskrit/ Pali /Prakrit /Persian/ Arabic/ Archaeology/ Anthropology/ Fine Arts or equivalent or other allied subjects from a recognized University with diploma/certificate in Museology of a recognized Institution.
3 years’ experience in a Museum of National or Regional importance under the control of Central/State Govt. or Union Territory including one year practical experience in collection, conservation/preservation and exhibition of art objects.
Desirable:
Research experience in a Museum with published research work.
Practical training and experience in the relevant field.

Important Notes:
No TA/DA shall be paid to the Candidate for attending the Interview.
Mere fulfilling of minimum qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for Interview.
The Screening Committee shall devise its own criteria to scrutinize the applications to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Interview.
Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances except in case of clause 27 (iv) of the advertisement.
Call letters and other correspondence for attending the Interview will be sent only to the eligible candidates by email.
Candidates must bring all original certificates relating to their age, qualifications, experience, etc. at the time of tests or interview. Failure to submit the original documents for verification of the certified photocopies may result in disqualification. Read more here
